Parents
What your child actually gets.
Not a certificate for attending. Students leave with a working project, a build log, and a demo they can explain to you.
Groups are small. The instructor who designed the course is the one teaching it. And every course ends with something that runs, moves or plays.

After-school at M21
Term-block courses at M21 Creator Space in Aberdeen. Current timetable and fees are sent on request.
Not sure which course fits? Tell us the age and interests and we will recommend one.
One student. One project.
Some students need a project, not a class. 1:1 mentorship is for a specific build, a competition entry, a portfolio or a university application.
Ask about mentorship- A short plan with milestones and a finish date
- Weekly or fortnightly sessions at M21 or online
- A project the student can show and explain
- Honest feedback, not a participation certificate
Questions from parents
My child has no coding experience. Is that okay?
Yes. Python Foundations and CAD start from zero. The first session assumes no prior knowledge.
Do they need their own laptop?
For most courses, a laptop is useful. We can provide one if needed — tell us before booking.
How big are the groups?
Usually 12–20 students, with one lead instructor. For workshops, up to 30 with support.
Where are the classes?
After-school courses run at M21 Creator Space in Aberdeen. School programmes run on campus.
Can parents see the work?
Yes. Every course ends with a demo, and parents are invited to watch.
Do you offer 1:1 mentorship?
Yes, for students with a specific project, competition or application in mind. It starts with a short conversation about the goal.
Tell us the cohort, dates and budget. We will send a programme outline within a week.
